Justice League: Zack Snyder Thinks It Would Be 'Unfair' For Him To Come Back After Being Away For So Long

A lot of people were shocked to hear that Zack Snyder was exiting the Justice League film because of a family tragedy, and Avengers director Joss Whedon was then hired to take over. Snyder now looks to have pulled himself together, and with the rumors going around that he'll finish JL himself, the director has opened up about his current place in the movie.

Speaking to WIRED, Snyder explains:

"I'm at a place where I feel excited about it and I'm happy for my guys and I love these people that are working on it, and they're my family and I think they're doing an amazing job… But I've kind of just let them do their thing."

Snyder was initially supposed to be a major force in pushing the DCEU forward, but ever since his exit from Justice League, his role in the DCEU is said to have taken a back seat. Snyder has just recently posted about his new short film, Snow Steam Iron, which you can check out on Vero.

With Snyder being the director of 50% of the DCEU films right now, I'm curious how his new position in the franchise is going to affect DC films moving forward. Hopefully they come on par with the success that Marvel is having with their movies.

Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
