Justice League: Was Superman CGI-d Out Of This Scene?

Though we know that Superman is going to return in Justice League, marketing has been very secretive about his appearance in the film. Cavill has been absent for most of the promos, but there's a scene in one of the trailers where it looks like Superman has actually been removed.

As Batman-News points out:

I won't be entirely surprised if Superman being CGI'd out is exactly what happened here. Marvel Studios did the same thing with the promos for Captain America: Civil War, and they had Spider-Man removed from all the scenes from the trailer save for his reveal. Then again, I think it was more of a case of CGI-ing Spider-Man into the movie.

With Batman v Superman giving away all the major plot points, I'm pretty happy that WB is holding back with all its reveals for Justice League. I think Doomsday would have been way more appreciated if his appearance in the movie was kept secret, but his short reveal in the trailer basically spoiled the movie's climax.

With the release of Justice League so close, let's hope that the marketing team doesn't drop the ball and accidentally give away any more big surprises for the movie.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
