Justice League: Check Out Concept Art For Zeus And Ares

The trailers for Justice League had confirmed that we were getting an ancient war between Steppenwolf and the armies of Earth, but what we didn't know much about was the involvement of Greek gods like Zeus and Ares. We only got glimpses of them in the movie, but there's some concept art that has come out online that gives us a good look at them.

Ares pretty much looks the same from his look in Wonder Woman, but Zeus here is a lot older compared to what we got in the movie. Another god that appeared in the film was Artemis, but for now we don't have any concept art on her.

It was said that the gods would have had speaking roles in the original version of the movie, but with Warner Bros wanting Justice League to be under two hours, the lines had to be cut. There were also speaking lines that were supposed to be for Hypployta and Antiope—all ending up in the cutting room floor.

For now, fans are clamoring for the release of a Snyder-cut of the movie, but with insiders saying that such a cut doesn't exist, a lot of fans are just holding on that WB gives them an extended cut.

Catch Justice League now in theaters.
