Justice League Character Poster Gives Us Good Look At Aquaman's Tatoos

Probably one of the hyped up characters for Justice League will be Jason Momoa's Aquaman, and the movie is trying to break the stereotype that Aquaman is a huge sissy compared to the other League members. We've had images of him in partial and full armor, but a new character poster gives is a full look on his tattoos.

As always, Momoa maintains an impressive physique for Arthur Curry; he's played bulky barbarians like Khal Drogo and Conan, and he seems to be the perfect actor to try and make Aquaman the exact opposite of a sissy character.

The tattoos look pretty cool, and you could say that they resemble that of traditional tattoos worn by people of the Polynesian culture. Probably the most popular example would be Moana's demi-god, Maui, who is played by another buff Polynesian, The Rock.

I think Momoa looks absolutely cool, and I'm ready to see his character come to form in the upcoming Justice League.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
