Following the announcement of the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, the campaign for the Suicide Squad's David Ayer cut has gotten stronger. Most affected by the movie's reshoots was Jared Leto's Joker, receiving backlash on the appearance of his version of the Clown Prince of Crime. Apparently, Joker was supposed to have a bigger role than what was shown in the theatrical cut, and while everyone isn't a fan of the Leto's version, it's clear that Snyder only has positive things to say about it.

A fan asked Snyder on Vero about his thoughts on Leto's Joker, as well as whether or not he would have liked to see an interaction between him and Ben Affleck's Batman. Leto can consider Snyder as his fan, with the Justice League director revealing that he "always loved him in the part."

The screenshot was then posted on Twitter, with Ayer himself sharing the comment, adding two emojis that summed up his reaction to Snyder's words. You can check it out below!

Ayer has long been a supporter of Snyder, add the fact that these two directors weren't able to release their DC films as exactly they wanted to. Their support for each other makes sense, showing the camaraderie between them since they basically share the same sentiments when it comes to having their visions compromised.

As for the Ayer cut, as exciting as it is for the director to have this opportunity, it would probably take a while before it actually happens, seeing what went through with the Snyder Cut following the film's theatrical release.
