The first season of The Witcher left the fans with a huge cliffhanger with Geralt and Ciri finally crossing paths. Although Season 2 will be focused on these two characters along with Yennefer, it will also add a whole new set of "fun characters," two of which are Witchers as well.

According to Redanian Intelligence, The Witcher will add Lambert and Coen in Season 2. Lambert will be reportedly played by Paul Bullion who has appeared in Peaky Blinders and The Bastard Executioner. Lambert is known to be quite a rude character and has helped train Ciri in combat. Meanwhile, Coen will be played by Dark Heart's Yasen Atour. Coen is a witcher from Poviss who also trained Ciri but he is an outcast because of his scars.

The site didn't mention how close these witchers are with Geralt and what their role would be in the second season, but they claim that both of these actors are expected to appear in at least three episodes. That is actually a lot, considering that the show has only very few episodes.

Further details about Season 2 are yet to be revealed as well, but fans are looking forward to seeing what showrunner Lauren Hissrich has in store for the characters. Photos from costume tests were allegedly leaked which shows that the first scenes they are filming are set in Nilfgaard, which indicates that fans will probably see more of Yennefer's arc.

The Witcher Season 2 is expected to be released sometime in 2021.
