The Mandalorian has already released two episodes since its premiere on Disney+. By now, fans are aware of the adorable character that has stolen the spotlight in the series since people seem to can't get over its cuteness. The character's name hasn't been revealed yet, but Lucasfilm actually has one set up for it.

This article contains potential SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Carl Weathers, who plays Greef Carga in the series, talked about the Mandalorian's target. The 50-year-old baby was dubbed as Baby Yoda by the fans, but it isn't confirmed if the character was actually the Jedi Master or someone of the same species. Nevertheless, the baby is said to be essential within the story. Weathers said the viewers would have to see the show in order to figure out who and what the baby really is all about, "or even if he is really a baby Yoda."

Weathers then revealed that the baby has his own name, but didn't talk much about that matter. He claims that the baby is interesting and knowledgeable. He even described baby Yoda as a "cute little guy", and admits that he doesn't even use that word.

The show has already shown that the baby is able to use the Force. And after just two episodes, it is likely that the bounty hunter and the baby will tackle a very long journey throughout the series. Of course, we'll be able to know more about the character in the following episodes, and I hope we'll learn about their species as the show progresses.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available to stream on Disney +, the third episode will be released on November 22.
