The CW's Batwoman will already be on its 6th episode this Sunday. The show always had mixed opinions even prior to its debut. That being said, the ratings for the latest episode could tell us that Batwoman might be leaning to a bad direction.

According to TV Series Finale, Batwoman got a .30 rating within the 18-49 demographics until the fourth episode. This shows that the series is somehow at a steady pace with regards to ratings. However, the number of viewers suggests that there's been a decline of 127,000 users between the fourth and fifth episode, which is almost a 10% decline.

What's unfortunate about the viewer count is that there is a massive decline seen from the pilot episode to the latest one. From 1.86 million viewers compared to 1.16 million of the fifth episode, this means there's a 37.6% decline. To put it simply, Batwoman lost 700,000 viewers within only five episodes.

Granted that the series was divisive to start with, the number of viewers presented could suggest that many people aren't particularly as attached to the story as they thought they would be. Or it is possible that the show just isn't working for some of the viewers anymore.

For now, there's no telling what the future holds for the series. Views could either go down even further, or surprisingly rise as the episodes get released. Regardless, we can only wait and see how Batwoman performs through the following weeks.
