The second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian is just a few months away and fans can't wait to see what's to come in the show. There are still a few question marks yet to be addressed, one being the identity of the Armorer. Ever since she appeared on the show, fans have been making their theories as to who she really is, and a new one suggests that the Armorer might be a Clone Wars character.

It was recently revealed that Ahsoka Tano will make an appearance on the show, which sparked quite a few speculations. In a theory from Redditor JJaXFighter, the user suggests that the Armorer is Bo-Katan Kryze, a Mandalorian squadron leader.

As fans may very well know, Bo-Katan appeared in the Clone Wars and Rebels and is known as Satine Kryze's sister. Bo-Katan refused to recognize Darth Maul as the leader, and became one when the Sith Lord was ousted by the Jedi. Sabine offered Bo-Katan the darksaber a few years after as the true heir to the Mandalore.

If Bo-Katan were to show up in the second season of The Mandalorian, she could explain why Moff Gideon is in possession of the darksaber. That said, the evidence pointing to her being the Armorer doesn't quite hit the mark. The Armorer has horns on her helmet, which fans assume has a connection to Maul. Also, a few Mandalorians stayed loyal to the Sith Lord, so if the Armorer is one of them, that immediately rules out Bo-Katan.

The Armorer speaks about the Jedi as if they were only in the past too, which hints that she didn't fight alongside them, unlike what Bo-Katan did, or has never come across a Jedi. However, this could also be a way for Bo-Katan's identity to remain a secret, to survive while in hiding.

Whether or not she is the Armorer, it would be cool to see Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian, and she could even provide a bit of a backstory about the iconic weapon.
