The Mandalorian is getting a lot of love from Star Wars fans around the world. The show is seen by many as somewhat nostalgic, given that it pays homage to some Western elements. But what would The Mandalorian be like if it actually was an 80's sitcom?

A fan named Gareth Wood took to Facebook to make this idea come to life. The 80's style intro shows various clips of Mando and the ever-popular Baby Yoda. The intro also included a clip of Carl Weathers and Nick Nolte, very similar to sitcom intros, the fan showed these characters by playing a particular scene from the series and stops the clip to show the actor's face. You can check it out below.

At the time of this post, the video has already gained over 540k views and 20k shares. Not to mention the various re-posts made by other fans who were incredibly fond of his work. Wood also made various Star Wars-related videos such as Sunrise on Endor, which the fan composed and performed himself.

A sitcom intro wouldn't be complete without some sort of cheesy background music. In this case, Wood used the song You Can Count on Me, performed by Greg Evigan. This song was actually used in an 80's sitcom titled My Two Dads. Fans loved Wood's video since it gives off a really nostalgic feel to it, which suits the show really well.
