When Rey was introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, her parentage has been a heavy point of discussion amongst the fans. Eventually, the truth was revealed in The Rise of Skywalker, making it known that Rey was actually Emperor Palpatine's granddaughter.

However, debates have sparked again when Daisy Ridley recently revealed that her character was almost a Kenobi, with The Clone Wars voice actor Anna Graves showing her support for the idea.

Taking to Twitter, Graves, who voiced Duchess Satine Kryze, recently shared her thoughts on Rey being related to Obi-Wan. "I was always hoping that Duchess Satine had Obi's child in secret and then... well, more Star Wars Jedi lineage mysteries unfold," she wrote. "Would love to have had Rey as my grandchild #reykenobi" You can check out her post below.

As fans may well know, Obi-Wan had secret romantic ties with Duchess Satine. With the two romantically involved, there was even a popular theory on the heels of The Force Awakens' release where fans assumed Rey could be the daughter of the Jedi Master and the leader of Mandalore.

Of course, fans have mixed opinions on both Rey being a Kenobi and Rey actually being a Palpatine. Some think it was a missed opportunity for her to be related to Obi-Wan, but there are others who think Rey fits being a descendant of the Sith Lord.

While she's officially known to be Palpatine's granddaughter, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Rey was Kenobi's daughter.

The Skywalker Saga is currently available to stream on Disney+.
