With a division of the fans’ opinions on The Last Jedi directed by Rian Johnson, the trilogy still seems to be a bit of a blur considering it’s the second to the last film to conclude the trilogy.

Drawing near the release of the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, fans ought to have an answer to all of their queries and to achieve a satisfying conclusion.

Along with the movie are the inevitable rumors surrounding the movie. Constant rumors are going out such as C-3PO being the film’s main focus or that Rey finds her Jedi parent history, even Palpatine’s Death Star-level ship is said to be featured in the movie as well. Most of it is just hearsay, of course.

Adding to the growing list of rumors is Jannah’s identity and purpose as well as Finn’s role in the movie. According to Jason Ward of Making Star Wars, Finn and Jannah are rumored to go on a suicide mission in the hopes to tear down General Pryde’s Super Star Destroyer.

Rumors about Jannah revolve around two things. Either her family was abducted and put into slavery by the Stormtroopers or she is said to be somehow related to Finn.

The former says she used to be a Stormtrooper, much like Finn, and that she just managed to escape. The latter suggests that Jannah is actually Finn’s sister. Considering that she was actually a former Stormtrooper like the first rumor suggests, this could be true.

Jannah’s origins aren’t clear yet but for an unknown reason, it is speculated that going on this suicide mission is her personal vendetta against The First Order.

As always, we advise you to take these rumors with a grain of salt as none of these haven’t been confirmed yet.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres on December 20, 2019.
