During the coronavirus pandemic, people are advised to self-quarantine at home. Since this has been going for over a month now, people are always looking for some new content to stream online. For those who have yet to check out anything from the galaxy far, far, away, Kevin Smith recommends the franchise's first live-action series.

Smith partnered with IMDb to share his recommendations in "What to Watch at Home With Kevin Smith." One of his biggest recommendations is Star Wars: The Mandalorian. "I never got to see The Mandalorian, so I got to binge and catch up," he said. "Holy sith, man, are you kidding me? This was fantastic. I can't give it a better review than this. It was like watching television in the ‘70s. Like that's what it was, man."

"It was like, I remember when they did the Planet of the Apes TV show in the ‘70s," he added. "And I remember sitting there in the afternoon watching it and feeling like, ‘They did this, man. They made a show tied into one of my favorite movies.'" Smith continued to praise the series, saying that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni's show was "fantastic" and that it made him feel like a kid again.

Aside from The Mandalorian, the Clerks director also recommended Tiger King, Swallow, The Platform, Little Fires Everywhere, and his own Jay & Silent Bob Reboot.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 is set for release this October on Disney+.
