Star Wars Just Revealed Kylo Ren's First Jedi Kill

Although Star Wars fans have seen what Kylo Ren's fate has come to in The Rise of Skywalker, Marvel Comics has a dedicated series to show the character's path to the Dark Side. In the third chapter of The Rise of Kylo Ren, Ben Solo is close to transforming, but he is required to pass the Dark Side test by telling a gruesome tale of the first-ever Jedi he killed.

The second chapter of the story showed Ben looking for clues to track down the Knights of Ren and join them. However, he came across three of Luke Skywalker's students, which are Ben's old classmates. Ought to find revenge after what Ben did to the temple and the Jedi Master, Voe, Hennix, and Tai fight against him.

In the third issue of The Rise of Kylo Ren, one of the three students met an unfortunate fate. When Ben Force-pushes Voe of a cliff, he suddenly used his power to levitate her in the air to help her from falling. However, Hennix thought that Ben is so far off to the Dark Side that he throws his lightsaber to Ben while he was distracted.

Ben managed to see the lightsaber coming towards him so he had to redirect his power by making the saber spin back to Hennix. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to stop the weapon which caused the saber to cut Hennix in half, ultimately leading to his death.

While it is a tragic story, this just shows how conflicted Ben is in between the Dark and Light side. Ren calls him out because he still wanted to save Voe, but the final chapter will show what Ben actually did to become Kylo Ren.
