It's no secret that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was divisive amongst fans and critics. Aside from the audience, the crew has shared some of their opinions on the movie as well, though John Boyega is seemingly the most vocal about it. The Finn actor admits the movie has its disappointments but has a whole other thought about it as well.

It started when Boyega took to Twitter to tell people that are pretending to be him on social media to at least have "charm" and joked about how the trolls were "embarrassing" him online.

One person then replied that it "can't be as embarrassing" as The Rise of Skywalker. To which the actor replied, "Embarrassing? LOL you wish." Boyega says that despite having "some disappointments," he thought they weren't "that big of a deal" and that the movie was "very fulfilling, then proceeding to tell the person that "everyone has moved on." Check out their exchange below.

Another person replied to that conversation as well, pointing out that Boyega has no reason to be embarrassed by the film, implying that Disney should be the one to feel so. "Literally! That's their problem lol," the actor responded.

While Boyega throws subtle shades at the film, he continues to praise The Rise of Skywalker as well. But of course, everyone has their own opinion about the movie, so their comments might not match that of the actor's sentiments. While it's been months since Episode IX was released, it still is a hot topic amongst some fans, so it is likely that there are some people who haven't moved on from it yet.
