Star Wars Fans Can't Get Over Kylo Ren's [SPOILERS] in The Rise of Skywalker

For some Star Wars fans, Kylo Ren has always been their favorite character. Despite being a villain, some fans have their own reason as to why they've always been drawn to the film's antagonist. And since Kylo is seen struggling and being torn between the Dark and Light Side of the Force, people always had high hopes that he'd be redeemed in Episode IX. What fans didn't expect is the fate that lies ahead of the character.

Kylo Ren had his redemption arc when his mother, General Leia, died, as well as seeing a memory of his father, Han Solo, telling him that his son Ben has always been alive. Left alone to his thoughts, he throws his lightsaber and follows Rey to Exogol where she plans to face Emperor Palpatine.

Both of the characters team-up in order to defeat the Sith Lord. Palpatine sucked the life out of the two, with such a strong bond, he could return to his old self and would not even need some sort of life support.

Ben managed to stand up after both of them collapsed, but the Emperor ended up throwing him into a pit. Fast forward to Rey successfully defeating Palpatine, she drops to the ground and has seemed to have died as well, showing her fixed and glassy eyes.

This is when Ben emerges from the pit, goes to Rey, and hugs her lifeless body. He then drained his life force and proceeded to heal and completely revive Rey, which ultimately led to his death.

Of course, Star Wars fans didn't expect for this to happen and have always been hopeful of seeing Ben Solo again. Needless to say, they could never get over from that scene. You can check out some of the fans' reactions below.

Unfortunately, fans won't get to see more of Ben in action, but sacrificing and giving his life to Rey was a great final act of redemption for himself.
