It was recently revealed that Ahsoka Tano will be featured in the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, to be played by Rosario Dawson. However, it looks like that won't be the only live-action appearance of the character.

Reports have recently gone around that Tano's appearance in The Mandalorian may likely lead to her own series. Now, in a report from Star Wars Unity, their sources claim that a series following the fan-favorite character is in "very early development" at Disney.

For now, of course, this is still considered a rumor so fans should take this with a grain of salt. That being said, an Ahsoka Tano series isn't unlikely to happen in the future. In a previous earnings call for Disney, CEO Bob Iger revealed that the priority for Star Wars is television.

"Then more coming from The Mandalorian thereafter, including the possibility of infusing it with more characters," he said. "And the possibility of taking those characters in their own direction in terms of series.

Though it is a rumor (for now), an Ahsoka Tano series would likely be supported by most Star Wars fans since she is a fan-favorite character after all. In addition, it would be interesting to learn more about her and see what other adventures she'd embark on. While fans wait for updates on an Ahsoka series, fans can look out for her appearance in the second season of The Mandalorian, set to arrive on Disney+ this October.
