Earlier this month, a Back to the Future deep fake video went viral which highlights MCU Tony Stark and Peter Parker's dynamic. The clip led fans to support the idea that if there were to be a remake of the classic film, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland would be the perfect fit.

Holland has previously revealed that he knew about the deep fake video and even sent it to Downey. He then jokingly asked the Iron Man actor on when they'd start shooting. That being said, Holland thinks Back to the Future is "one of the only perfect movies ever made" and that they "couldn't do it any better," so a remake won't be necessary. However, he recently revealed that there have actually been talks about making a remake.

"I'd be lying if I said there hadn't been conversations in the past about doing some sort of remake," Holland told BBC Radio 1. "But that film is the most perfect film — or one of the most perfect films, one that could never be made better."

"That said, if [Robert Downey Jr.] and I could just shoot that one scene that they remade for fun — he could pay for it cause he's got loads of money — I would do it for my fee and we could remake that scene," the actor continued. He said that he owes it to deep fake for doing "such a good job." Then, Holland said that he might speak to Downey and see if they could "try to recreate something for deep fake."

Of course, fans of the original film wouldn't need to be stressed with the idea of a remake. While talks may have happened, Holland makes it clear that he has the utmost respect for the film and thinks that it would be hard to top such a great movie. This doesn't necessarily confirm that there'll be a Back to the Future remake, and it looks like Holland doesn't seem to be invested in making one.
