Matt Reeves' The Batman is yet to start production but fans are eager to know more details about the movie. There's no telling on what kind of movie Reeves is mapping out for the Caped Crusader and we wouldn't know what to expect with Robert Pattinson's take on Batman. What we do know are bits and pieces for the movie, including Pattinson's inspiration for his Batman voice.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Pattinson revealed that his inspiration for his Batman voice is Willem Dafoe. He noted that his inspiration would be drawn specifically from Dafoe's voice for his character in The Lighthouse.

"Willem's voice in this is quite inspiring for it to be honest," the Twilight alum said. He revealed that he would be doing a similar voice since he thinks Batman has a "sort of pirate-y king of voice." Pattinson thinks that the hero would really suit him. You can check out his interview below.

It is known by DC fans that each Batman actor has their unique version of the hero's voice. Of course, it all goes down to preference; that's why some are much more fond of a specific one than others. Regardless, it would be interesting to see how Pattinson would deliver this voice and make it as suitable as possible to the Caped Crusader.

Plot details about The Batman are still kept under wraps and Pattinson is trying his best to not talk about it so as not to reveal any spoilers. For now, it is known that Paul Dano would play The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz will be playing Catwoman.

Production is expected to begin sometime in January. Reeves will be working with Dylan Clark to produce the film, as well as Mattson Tomlin who will co-write the script.

The Batman premieres on June 25, 2021.
