Following Cloak & Dagger's cancellation, Marvel TV proves to be clearing house since another one of Jeph Leob's projects will face its final season as well.

Marvel fans were excited about Runaways' third season coming this December. Hulu recently released a new trailer for the show. However, to the fans' surprise, the clip indicates that the third season will be its last one.

Runaways facing its last season means the remaining shows on Hulu include the live-action Helstrom series, Marvel's M.O.D.O.K, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler Show, Howard the Duck, and a crossover titled The Offenders. And since Jeph Loeb is expected to step down from Marvel TV, Runaways marks his last project for the company in addition to Agents of SHIELD's final season coming next year.

Even though the end seems abrupt, Variety reports that a source closely involved in the series says Runaways will have a "natural ending point." This assures that fans of the show won't experience a rushed plot.

Season 3 of Runaways will follow the story of our heroes in the search for their friends Chase, Gert, and Karolina. They will be facing a villain who is on the hunt for Leslie and the child she's carrying. The show will have a total of 10 episodes and is set to premiere on December 13.

The cast of Marvel's Runaways includes Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, and Elizabeth Hurley.
