When Disney acquired Fox last year, fans quickly had speculations and castings of their own on who would be the best fit to play the First Family. Among the fans' top picks is The Office star John Krasinski for the role of Reed Richards. Productions are currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it seems like Marvel is doing some work behind the scenes.

According to Geeks Worldwide, Marvel Studios has been taking virtual meetings with various actors, writers, and directors in the past weeks, one of which is A Quiet Place director John Krasinski. The outlet says both the actor and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige would love to work together.

It's unclear whether Krasinski will play a character, or be involved in a Marvel project as a director or writer. That being said, the outlet claims both the actor and the studio discussed "a multitude of projects" during the virtual meeting but Krasinski isn't specifically in talks for any MCU project.

If Krasinski eventually gets attached to a Marvel project, it wouldn't be a surprise since he has expressed interest, not only in playing a Marvel character but also in directing a movie. The actor says he would "love" to be in the MCU because the projects are "fun" and "well done", and as for directing, he'd definitely "jump in there" because the studio has "great formula" and that he trusts in Feige.

What do you think? Would you rather like Krasinski to play a Marvel character such as Reed Richards or would you like to see him direct or write? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
