This year's San Diego Comic-Con will run differently, opting for a virtual event due to the coronavirus pandemic. Amongst the hundreds of panels to be featured in the online con is Marvel, with the House of Ideas' schedule officially revealed.

The virtual event will take place from July 23-26, and the first one up for the franchise is the Disney+ panel on Marvel's 616 docuseries followed by the Marvel HQ event, with Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing as the last.

On July 23, Thursday, 1:00 PM PT, Marvel's 616 directors Gillian Jacobs, Paul Scheer, and executive producers Sarah Amos and Jason Sterman discuss the making of the Disney+ anthology series along with moderator Angélique Roché.

On the same day at 4:00 PM PST, young Marvel fans will get to check out what's to come in Marvel HQ. There'll be a comic read-along as well as a Lego battle. The panel will also feature a behind-the-scenes look at Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom animated series. Young fans can also go along in drawing the symbiote baddie in Marvel Draw.

Lastly, on Friday, July 24 at 11:00 AM PST, Marvel fans can join Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski as he talks about what's the latest to arrive. Tom Brevoort, Al Ewing, and Dan Slott will discuss EMPYRE, while Jordan White, Tini Howard, and Gerry Duggan will give some details about the X OF SWORDS. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #850 will be discussed by Nick Lowe, Nick Spencer, and Mark Bagley. Lowe then rejoins the panel with creators Taboo and Ben Jackendoff to talk about the return of Werewolf by Night.

The upcoming SDCC virtual event will be almost entirely prerecorded and will take place on July 23 to 26.
