Now that The Rise of Skywalker has been out for weeks, Star Wars fans have already been rewatching the film and checking some scenes frame by frame to see if they missed any important details or Easter eggs in the movie. In addition, even prior to the film's release, some fans have been speculating that there could be some sort of tiny connection between The Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker, given their release date. Well, it seems like this connection is evident in the form of ships.

In the final battle at Exegol, Lando and the rest arrive with a massive fleet to help out the Resistance in defeating Emperor Palpatine. It is already a given that the movie didn't get to showcase a lot of these ships, even the iconic ones. Hence, fans would have to go through footage and zoom in on the small details of the ships.

With that being said, a Redditor recently shared some photos from the film which shows that Mandalorian starfighters were included in the fleet. The vehicle is very much reminiscent to that of the Fang fighters, also known as Protectorate fighters. This is a specific model of a starfighter that was used by the Mandalorian Protectors. You can check it out here.

Most fans weren't exactly surprised to have these kinds of Easter eggs since the movie is said to be filled with fanservice after all. If this were to be confirmed, some fans are already curious to know what has happened to these Mandalorian Protectors through the years.
