Marvel has several films and series lined up to be released next year and these will feature some new characters and storylines that fans have been waiting for. Among these is a fan-favorite villain that is reportedly set to appear in an upcoming project.

According to Daniel RPK (via Full Circle Cinema), the studio allegedly has plans to use M.O.D.O.K. in a future project. That said, it is currently unknown which project this character will make his live-action debut in.

M.O.D.O.K. was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in the Tales of Suspense #93 back in 1967. He was created after an Advanced Idea Mechanics employee went under an experiment to increase his intelligence. It was a success but it resulted in the man having a freakishly large head, which is the reason why he has his trademark chair.

The scooper suggests that the character will most likely appear in Spider-Man 3. It wouldn't be surprising to see M.O.D.O.K. in the sequel since Peter Parker has encountered some of Tony Stark's enemies. It is known that Iron Man has encountered A.I.M. in the third movie, so having M.O.D.O.K in the upcoming movie would certainly be epic.

For now, this is just considered a rumor so fans would have to take this report with a grain of salt. That said, M.O.D.O.K's live-action debut is definitely welcome seeing as he's become a fan-favorite character over the years.
