Even before the coronavirus pandemic shut down TV show and movie productions, plot details about the Loki Disney+ series have been quite scarce. Aside from the trailer revealing that the Time Variance Authority would be heavily involved in the show, there's not much known about the upcoming series. That said, knowing the God of Mischief, he will likely cause some trouble, with Loki producer Michael Waldron teasing "unexpected" sci-fi elements that'll most probably be featured on the show.

Following the release of Loki's landing page on Disney+, Waldron shared the news through an Instagram Story, even teasing what's to come in the show.

"...I like the green nebula. It indicates that this is a science fiction (‘sci-fi') show," he wrote. "You know what they say about ‘sci-fi': Expect the unexpected when it comes to science fiction." The show's director, Kate Herron, shared Waldron's post as well, seemingly indicating that she's backing the producer's comments. You can check it out below!

While Herron didn't add any additional comments on her Instagram Story, this does hint that both the director and producer agree there'll be some "unexpected" things to arrive on the upcoming show. Following Loki's escape with the Tesseract in Endgame, add the fact that the show is connected to the Doctor Strange sequel, it's certain that the character is up to no good as he hops through time.

What are your thoughts on Waldron's comment? What are you looking forward to the most on the show? Tell us in the comments below!
