There has only been limited information about the upcoming Marvel series arriving on Disney+. However, fans did get a first look at some shows with footage released at the Super Bowl. While the clip for Loki was short, it revealed quite a huge piece of information that involves the Time Variance Authority, and it looks like Marvel has big plans for the said group.
In a report from The Illuminerdi, a few character descriptions for the show have been revealed. There's already a few actors cast for the series and some of these might have been filled, but the outlet says Marvel is looking for a big name to play the male lead in five or six episodes, with a sense of humor and has options to go into the big screen.
Aside from that, a "Female 2" character is also included in the list with a 30 to late 50's age range. The role is open to all races and will appear in around six episodes as well. Another one is a character named Casey, a good-natured yet exhausted intern. She is said to be "extremely likable" and goes by the books when things happen unexpectedly. Lastly is a character named John, a "contentious and combative soldier." He will be a supporting role that is set to appear on four episodes, open to all ethnicities with a 27 to 36 years old range.
Although it is yet to be confirmed, there is a good chance that these characters are members of the Time Variance Authority. An office setting could also be possible, with an assistant character to be added. The ‘Male Lead" as well as "Female 2" could potentially be the characters Justice Peace and Justice Love. Production has been underway for a while now so fans would maybe get some more details soon.
Loki is set for release in the Spring of 2021 on Disney+.
