Months after the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, new information about the film has slowly emerged, including some parts and ideas that never made it to the final cut. The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker book features some of the latter, including an unused concept art that shows Kylo Ren facing a group of space wolves.

The piece comes from J.J. Abrams and Chris Terrio's early draft of the script. Like Colin Treverrow's Duel of the Fates, the early version of the film also featured a lot of scenes set on Coruscant. The unused concept art (via Yahoo Entertainment), shows the Supreme Leader facing "ferocious alien wolves," which are the planet's only inhabitants. You can check it out below!

The piece looks like it's a scene where Kylo Ren navigates the deserted planet in search of the ruins of the Jedi Temple but unexpectedly faces off with a bunch of wolves.

It's inevitable for some ideas to get scrapped or left out with a film as massive as The Rise of Skywalker, and there's only so much that can fit in a film that is set to conclude the Skywalker Saga. That said, it would have been cool to see Kylo fighting these alien wolves in the movie, but it is understandable for these kinds of scenes to end up not being included.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is available on Digital HD. The movie is set to release on Blu-Ray, DVD, and 4K UHD on March 31.
