Jeff Goldblum Reveals He'll Return as Grandmaster for Marvel's What If...?

Marvel will be releasing Thor: Love and Thunder which will be the fourth movie in the Thor saga. And while many fans are wondering if Jeff Goldblum would ever return as the Grandmaster for the movie in 2021, it looks like the actor would reprise his role earlier than expected.

Speaking with Buzzfeed, Goldblum was asked whether or not he'll appear in the Thor sequel. To which the actor revealed, "Hey, we're talking about it." "You know, I hope so," he adds, as he talked about Taika Waititi being a great director. He claims that he loves Waititi and that they're really good friends. He didn't confirm anything, but he says that he hopes he'll appear in the movie.

In the process of talking about the sequel, Goldblum also revealed that "he'll play the part again." The actor says he just recently went to Disney studios to record the Grandmaster's voice in the upcoming animated series, What If…? On Disney+.

He also confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will return to voice Iron Man, as well as Taika Waititi for Korg. Towards the end of the interview, the actor admits that he enjoyed doing the recording for Grandmaster. You can check out the clip below.

For now, the actor is in the hopes to return as the Grandmaster. That being said, it is possible that he'll be reprising his role but we'd have to wait for further announcements.

Thor: Love and Thunder is slated for a release on November 5, 2021.
