J.J. Abrams recently signed with Warner Media despite a lower offer than Apple's. He may have passed a potential billion-dollar deal by choosing Warner Bros but he thinks that Warner Media has more to offer and has larger opportunities and space for him to work and develop on numerous movies in the future.

Rumors surrounding Abrams involved the director having a conversation with Warner Bros regarding a Superman movie which hasn't even been confirmed yet. And now, other information has been leaked adding more fuel to the fire.

Cosmic Book News says that since speculations on Robert Pattinson not playing the Ben Affleck Batman and Jim Gordon's character is going to be played by Jeffrey Wright are out, it is very likely that Henry Cavill is withdrawn from consideration. It is rumored that Abrams might even be recasting Superman with a younger actor, resulting in Cavill out of the next movie.

Abrams is said to be not directing a sequel, considering that Robert Pattinson is the new Batman of the DCEU. This results in reasoning that Superman cannot be older than Batman, hence the recast, Cosmic Book News reports.

Rumors say that the sole reason why Abrams signed with Warner Media instead of Apple is that he wants to tackle on DC characters, particularly Superman and Green Lantern first. Abrams prioritizes his company's (Bad Robot) future and expansion, that's why he went with Warner Bros. And since Apple is reportedly missing a theatrical distribution model, the director made his decision.

As always, we advise you to take these rumors with a grain of salt and do not read further into these reports since these are only speculations.
