The Snyder Cut campaign was started around last month which gathered thousands of fans. This social media event marked the second year anniversary of the Justice League, with even notable names from the franchise lending a helping hand in the hopes to release Zack Snyder's original cut of the film. However, DC's Superman, Henry Cavill, stayed silent in the duration of the campaign. And now, he reveals the reason why.

Cavill recently spoke with Kevin McCarthy to promote his upcoming Netflix series The Witcher. Upon getting asked about Snyder's original version of the movie, he revealed that he hadn't "seen any Snyder Cut." Although, he pointed out that he doesn't know if there's any Snyder Cut that actually exists.

"I'm sure there's footage out there that's probably been pieced over the years," he added. While Cavill said he's "interested" to see how "stuff like that turns out," he admitted that it's now "very much a chapter" in his "past."

The actor preferred it if he would just talk about "what's going to happen in the future," in terms of his role as Superman, and how he would "express" that character from the comics.

Based on his comments, Cavill didn't exactly say that there is no Snyder Cut in existence. After all, the director himself has recently shared a photo on Vero to prove that his own original cut actually exists. That being said, it doesn't seem like he's disagreeing with the fans to release the Snyder Cut, but it is very much evident that he is not interested to talk about the said issue.
