Various public figures have been open about their coronavirus diagnosis and Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling is the latest one to reveal about having symptoms of COVID-19.

Rowling took to Twitter to share a video about coping with COVID-19 related respiratory symptoms. She has also been taking advice from her husband, who is a doctor. Rowling revealed in the tweet that she's been having symptoms in the "the last 2 weeks," but she noted that she hasn't been tested. That said, Rowling is now "fully recovered" and that the technique "helped a lot."

The video shows Sarfaraz Munshi, a doctor at Queen's Hospital, Essex, who offers advice on techniques to prevent the symptoms from getting worse. You can check out Rowling's tweet below.

She then added a follow-up tweet, thanking those who sent kind messages and wishes. Rowling assured her followers that she has completely recovered and that she just wanted to share the technique in the clip recommended by doctors, which "costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot."

Since schools are closed during the pandemic, Rowling recently announced an open license for teachers who wish to read Harry Potter to their students via video. She then launched the Harry Potter at Home website that features entertainment for fans in the midst of quarantine.
