DC has been constantly preparing for the annual celebration of the Dark Knight. Batman Day has been a tradition for both the fans and the company. On September 21st, the hero will celebrate its 80th year as the World's Greatest Detective.

Following Batman Day is DC's collaboration with multiple comic book retailers, bookstores, schools, and libraries across the globe to commemorate the beloved hero. The festivities will include comic book giveaways as well as lighting up the skies of multiple cities at night by projecting the iconic Bat-Signal.

DC even made sure fans would get to feel part of the celebration with the release of the Bat-Tracker. An interactive map to locate the Bat-Signal lighting, and details on the events that will commence at each specific location. The Bat-Tracker also mirrors the real-time projections so you won't miss out on the fun.

Following Batman Day are multiple games commencing a celebration of their own. One of these is the world-renowned game, Fortnite.

Fortnite's next crossover was shared by multiple fans, revealing Batman to be included in the Battle Royale mode. Epic Games hasn't given an announcement yet but some of the information for this crossover might have been leaked.

According to reports from CBR, various Batman-related stuff will be appearing in the game. Such as a new Rift Zone to be included in the Battle Royale map, showing the Gotham City. Aside from the landing spot, Batman cosmetics are also included. The Batwing-type glider and skin yet to be named were leaked as well. Lastly, rumored challenges include tasks such as using a Batman grapple gun to defuse Joker gas canisters with the glider as the biggest prize.

With that said, none of these leaks aren't confirmed yet and the company is yet to release a statement regarding the Batman crossover.

Fortnite is available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, ios and Android devices, Windows, and Nintendo Switch.
