Earlier this month, it was revealed that Boba Fett will allegedly make an appearance in the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. However, there could be a twist to the character that ought to get the fans surprised.

According to Overlord DVD on YouTube, Boba Fett will be taking off his helmet in the third season of the show, only to reveal that the character is a woman. A flashback will then be shown of Boba Fett crawling out the Sarlacc Pit but dies in the sand. Some Jawas will scavenge the armor, which will be acquired by Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian from Star Wars Rebels, who is also rumored to appear alongside Ahsoka on the show.

The outlet's source claims the plan is for Sabine Wren to take Boba Fett's armor, become the famed bounty hunter, and go on adventures as the female Boba Fett. All this will allegedly lead into an animated Disney+ show, which is supposedly what Leslye Headland is working on.

As most of you know, early reports suggest Headland's show is going to be female-centric, which might explain Sabine Wren taking the armor and heading to a spinoff show. However, it was recently revealed that Temuera Morrison will play Boba Fett on the show and that Timothy Olyphant's character will allegedly salvage the armor as well.

While it is possible to take on such a big twist like this, it may be more plausible for Sabine to just get a spinoff rather than actually donning Boba Fett's armor then heading to another show. That said, there have been surprises in the Star Wars universe thus far, so this one isn't unlikely. Of course, this is just a rumor so remember to take this with a grain of salt.
