Fans Poke Fun At 'Ugly,' Poorly Edited Spider-Man: Far From Home Poster

A new poster for Spider-Man: Far From Home is out,l but fans think it's horrendous. In fact, they weren't shy in making fun of it.

The new poster puts Spider-Man front and center with Nick Fury and Mysterio on either side. Behind them is the Spider-Man logo and you can see Europe in the distance, which will be the main setting for the film.

Even though Sony and Marvel Studios thought this poster is ready to go, a lot of fans believe they could have used more time to put it together. Fans on Facebook are saying it looks like it was made by a five-year-old with one even going so far as to say it is " the worst movie poster" he's ever seen. Others called it downright "trash."

Twitter users are saying the same. One fan tweets that the Spider-Man: Far From Home poster makes the Spider-Man: Homecoming they so detested when it first came out look like a masterpiece. It is a "hilariously bad" poster as another puts it.

One person took a crack at designing his own poster, which more fans seemed to love more than the real thing. Another took notice of the absence of Jacob Batalon's name on the poster.

It's not like the first one is better though. Fans aren't happy with that either as it looks like a screenshot from the second Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer with some text on it.

Apart from the "ugly" poster, character posters were also released. In fact, they feature the same shots of Peter Parker, Nick Fury, and Mysterio that you see in the main Spider-Man: Far From Home poster. Zendaya's MJ also got her own poster even though she didn't make it in the main one, which is probably for the best.

Interestingly, Marvel is recruiting artists for Spider-Man: Far From Home artwork, so the studio might actually be in need of people to handle this department.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits the theaters July 2.
