Marvel fans can't wait to see what's to come in Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ series, but the show is seemingly yet to wrap up with the coronavirus pandemic abruptly halting production. The episodes see Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson team up to go on adventures and are heading into some uncharted territory, but surprising things are bound to happen that it'll reportedly have a different name for its possible second season.

"Coming out of season one, [Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson] are going to have gone through something traumatic and be different," Charles Murphy said in the Murphy's Law podcast. "There was definitely at one point a plan for a second season."

Murphy claims that should Falcon and the Winter Soldier get a second season, it won't have the same name. Instead, it'll allegedly be a "thematically related thing with a different name."

It's unclear what that exactly means, but it's certainly enough for fans to make some theories and speculations. Since Sam is bound to take on the mantle of Captain America, there is a chance for the show's title to be changed from Falcon to the latter's name. There's also the possibility of Bucky getting rid of his Winter Soldier persona, thus a name change.

Regardless of what it is, if the show does get a second season, this rumor indicates that there are some explosive things to occur on the show. Needless to say, fans ought to be intrigued by what's coming.
