New superhero movies are going to be in the works as both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Universe are cooking up quite a storm. And as fans come to know the upcoming movies that will be released in the future, a lot of speculations and reports are blowing up for casting rumors.

As their anticipation grows, so does the fans' expectation for the protagonist's villain.

One person whose being eyed on is 300: Rise of an Empire star, Eva Green. She has been a fan-favorite for a long time now. And is well-loved by people around the world for her exceptional talent and passion for acting.

With the release of Birds of Prey's teaser, which is apparently considered as a "segway to all the great supervillainess of the DC Universe". This topic was brought to the actress' attention by a fan under the user zetumusica.

"I really think @EvaGreenWeb should be Poison Ivy", the fan adds. The Eva Green fan account seems to be providing official info for the actress as it quotes the tweet with an intriguing response, "Eva has another idea…"

And while Green is rumored to be Doctor Strange's foe as Nightmare, it still isn't clear on who Green would likely play in. Information with regards to Green joining MCU or DCU hasn't even been confirmed yet. Since Eva Green is talented and is one of the few actresses people would like to see on screen as a villain, the world is her oyster.

Considering that Poison Ivy is off the list, Green could most likely appear in a movie under the Marvel Cinematic Universe with only A Patriot in the works. It looks like she would be available just in time to film for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which is supposed to commence shooting sometime around 2020.

With that said, it's also an option for Green to be a villain under DC as the account specifically responded to a tweet regarding the future female villains for DCU.

Personally, I would like to see Eva Green as a villain. Whether she is under DCU or MCU, I'm sure the actress would be an effective villain for the character she will be given.

The Suicide Squad will be released on August 6, 2021, while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is on May 7, 2021.
