Star Wars: The Mandalorian already made its premiere upon the launch of Disney+. The show has been receiving some good reviews so far, and fans are excited about what's to come for the following episodes. And if it proves to be good enough, it might get a movie as well.

Speaking with Variety, Disney Studios co-chairman Alan Horn shared his thoughts on the launch of their new streaming platform. At one point, Horn was asked if some of the platform's contents would make their way to the big screen since this is done vice-versa, where series eventually make their way to cinemas. Specifically, the co-chairman was asked about the new series, The Mandalorian.

Horn revealed that a feature based on the series isn't out of the question. He thinks that The Mandalorian is "already proving to be a big thing." If the series would prove itself to be "compelling," Horn says it might eventually have a theatrical release. He mentioned that it could be a 2-hour film if the show goes well.

Considering the amount of support it has been receiving so far, even prior to its debut, it isn't entirely impossible for the series to have its turn in the big screen eventually. For many, The Mandalorian is showing such potential. Fans loved the pilot episode, even including a surprisingly cute and epic twist towards the end. And if this much reaction goes on, then the series might get a movie soon enough.
