Disney Princesses Team Up With X-Men Superheroes In Epic Fanart Series

With Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel under one studio, a fan's imagination could roam free in terms of collaborations and mash-ups. One could think about almost any mash-ups as the possibilities are endless.

Some of the desired collaborations may have come to life with this artist's mash-up series. Marcus Williams, also known as Marcus the Visual, showed off his impeccable talent and creativity by making the Marvel's X-Men and Disney princesses team-up.

In the form of digital art, Williams created his own fanart series showcasing different characters rolled into one epic bunch. The artist posts his artwork with lengthy captions, detailing how the teams were formed according to his perception. He named his series, X-Men Princesses.

In his first creation, Williams explained how "it's only natural" that some of the Disney princesses that possess magical powers would "eventually" have a crossover with the mutants. Considering that Disney now owns the rights to X-Men. He made the series as he can't want for Disney "to do that officially".

Comic Book highlighted the artist's creations in their recent report, picking out their favorites from the series as well. Here are some of the team-ups made by the artist:

First up is Storm and Pocahontas. The team was formed due to their similarities with regard to weather. Since Storm is an "omega-level weather goddess" and Pocahontas is a "painter of colorful winds".

Wolverine has teamed up with Rapunzel. As the artist calls them, the Attacker team. Wolverine is the "berserker king" and the princess is the "master of dual adamantium skillets". The artist sees that the two have "healing factor of sorts" and that they both "swift flash metals to the face of their enemies".

Next up are the trained warriors, Mulan and Psylocke. The artist even gave a story on how the relationship between the two will progress as they go along. He mentions that the two will make a mutual agreement to "put their differences aside" seeing as Mulan was not good in following directions.

Another team he formed up consists of the "King and Queen of cold". Iceman and Elsa are seen as a pair who will grow out of their cold attitude as they show off their powers with each other.

A trio team-up was next, it includes Beast, Shuri, and Bell who are "like-minded intellectuals". As the three share a liking for literature, it wouldn't be hard for them to get along and be a strong team.

These are only a few of the artist's outstanding work. William's work was inventive and original and it surely was a hit to the fans as they look forward to more of his creations. You could check them out yourself and give the artist some appreciation through his handle marcusthevisual.
