Wrapping up a whole entire saga with the last scene she ever shot for The Rise of Skywalker, Ridley said the scene involves her character "being very sad." She didn't explain much further about what the shot consists of, but the actress admitted that it was "not hard to be upset in that scene."

Even after director J.J. Abrams wrapped up the shot, she was still strongly feeling the emotions. "I did this embarrassing speech that I can't remember," Ridley adds. "It was so sad."

The actress said that she doesn't know what would happen in the future in terms of her character in the Star Wars universe. But she did admit that "it felt like an end." She can't imagine it clearly right now and Ridley said she "doesn't know what'll happen in however many years."
