Dave Filoni, who worked on both The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, will be directing the first episode of the highly-anticipated series. And since we're getting near the show's premiere, a new BTS photo from The Mandalorian just got released.

Vanity Fair spotlights Filoni in their new piece showing the director's journey on becoming one of the creative minds behind the Star Wars franchise.
