Earlier this year, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson revealed on her YouTube channel that she previously auditioned for a Star Wars movie. The actress didn't specify which role or what movie it was, which led to various speculations from fans. However, as Larson celebrates four years as Captain Marvel, she has been reflecting on her past roles, recently confirming the Star Wars movie she auditioned for.

In a recent appearance on Garry Whitta's Animal Talking show, Larson revealed to the Rogue One co-writer himself that she auditioned for the said Star Wars film. "Oh yeah! You wrote Rogue One, right?" the actress said. "I auditioned for that, I didn't get it."

Assuming that the part she likely attempted to take on was that of Jyn Erso's, which was ultimately played by Felicity Jones, there's the possibility that Larson could still make her way to the galaxy far, far away at some point in the future given her love for the Star Wars universe. She has professed her love for the franchise multiple times and it's no secret that she would jump at the chance to star in one.

Aside from Star Wars, as previously mentioned, Larson also auditioned for Hunger Games and the Terminator reboot.
