Given the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, lots of things are getting affected, including the entertainment industry; with production, events, and planned projects getting delayed. Black Widow, like the other upcoming blockbuster films, has gotten delayed. The Marvel movie does not have a new release date set yet, but fans are hoping it could have an early release on Disney+, and one of the film's actors is on board with the idea.

During a recent Instagram Live (transcript via ScreenRant), actor David Harbour, who plays the role of the Red Guardian, wouldn't mind checking the film out on the streaming platform. "I'm very much looking forward to being in Black Widow if we ever are able to release that movie," he said. "I would love to be able to watch that movie too - y'know I have not seen that movie."

Though he hasn't seen the final cut yet, Harbour says he has already seen "some stuff in ADR," and he thinks that all of it looks "really good." The actor pointed out that although he was there while shooting the film because he's starring in it, he's "really excited" to see it himself on screen. "Hell, I would watch it on Disney+," he said.

While it would be great to be able to watch the film in the comfort of your home during the quarantine, it's important to note that Black Widow is made for the big screen. It wouldn't likely be heading to Disney+ first because it would be a big risk for the Mouse House.

This is also a big movie for Marvel this year, so it's only appropriate for it to have a theatrical release. The situation of the pandemic months from now is still unclear so fans would have to be patient and wait for further updates with regards to the movie's new release date, or the possibility of it being released on small screens.
