Batman Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Would Love To Join Batwoman Series

Legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy would be interested in joining the upcoming CW comic book series Batwoman as Thomas Wayne.

The idea was pitched by Twitter user ERod, who hopes to see Conroy as the Wayne patriarch in flashbacks that show Bruce and Kate as kids. "I love this idea!" the voice actor responded.

It didn't take long for fans to express their interest in making it happen, with some believing that it is highly possibly. After all, The CW has brought on actors that played DC Comics characters before. John Wesley Shipp was tapped to play the role of Barry Allen's father and then reprised his role as nineties Flash in the Arrowverse crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Carl Lumbly played Martian Manhunter in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series with Conroy as Batman before he was brought on to bring to life the character's father M'yrnn J'onzz in the Supergirl TV series.

The Melissa Benoist series also featured Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the 1970s, along with Teri Hatcher and Erica Durance, who played Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Smallville, respectively.

Some fans are taking it to the next level, hoping to see Conroy play Batman in a live-action movie with Mark Hamill as Joker instead.

Whether or ot Conroy will ever be brought onto the Batwoman TV series remains to be seen, but it looks like The CW won't have a hard time convincing him if they decide to do it.

Unfortunately, Batwoman has been getting a lot of flak since the first trailer was released for what many people think is blatant feminist propaganda. The series starring Ruby Rose will premiere this fall. The character debuted on the last Arrowverse crossover and is set to join the next one later this year as well.
