Robert Downey Jr. truly did a remarkable performance in Avengers: Endgame. Fans all over the world really can't get over his heart-wrenching scenes and his final moments in the movie. His performance is commended by many and this is shown through another award the actor recently received.

At the People's Choice Awards, Downey opened this year's event Sunday night where he received the award for the Male Movie Star of 2019. This isn't a surprise since Downey's role as Iron Man has been apart of millions of fans' lives.

Downey had a short speech upon receiving the award. He thanked Disney, Marvel, and the Russo brothers. He ended his speech by dedicating his award to the Iron Man creator, "And most of all, to the late, great Stan Lee, this is for you, buddy."

This shows that there is no doubt Downey made an impact on the fans who have been supporting him for years with his performance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On the other hand, Disney is actually pushing Downey for an Oscars award. However, to the fans' surprise, it is for the Best Supporting Actor Award instead of the Best Actor Award. Regardless, the idea of Downey being recognized by the House of Mouse is actually appreciated by many fans.

Downey will star in the film Dolittle, which is his first movie post-Endgame. The film is scheduled for release on January 17, 2020.
