ABC to Air Star-Studded Disney Family Singalong Event Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, people are currently in self-quarantine and practicing social distancing to help flatten the curve. In order to make it a little more fun, ABC announced the airing of The Disney Family Singalong this week which has an epic star-studded lineup.

The event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and airs this Thursday, April 16 at 8:00 p.m. EDT. It'll be a fun and magical hour of celebrities and families singing along their favorite Disney songs at their homes.

The first celebrity guests that were first announced include Christina Aguilera, Erin Andrews, Bobby Bones, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, Auliʻi Cravalho, Luke Evans, Jordan Fisher, Josh Gad, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Little Big Town, Donny Osmond, Thomas Rhett, Amber Riley, and John Stamos.

More celebrities then recently joined the lineup, including Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Alan Menken, Elle Fanning, Josh Groban, Darren Criss, Tori Kelly, and Marcus Scribner. There will also be a "We're All in This Together" performance by Kenny Ortega along with the High School Musical, Descendants, ZOMBIES, and the HSM series cast. There will be some surprise appearances too so Disney fans should definitely look out for the event.

The special also includes talent from The Walt Disney Television in support of FeedingAmerica.org to assist those who are in need amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

Among the songs to be featured are "Let It Go," "Under the Sea," "You've Got a Friend in Me," "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," and many more iconic Disney songs.

The Disney Family Singalong airs Thursday, April 16 on ABC.
