Jordan Vogt-Roberts Did NOT Like What CinemaSins Had To Say About Kong: Skull Island

CinemaSins' Everything Wrong With videos got popular the same time that Screen Junkies Honest Trailers did, but Jordan Vogt-Roberts, director of Kong: Skull Island, was not a fan of how they bashed his movie in their latest video.

For some context, here's the video:

Vogt-Roberts has been posting up a series of tweets bashing CinemaSins, and he's been attacking the channel for being overtly negative and saying that they contribute to the dumbing down of audiences. He's also been posting up some screen captions of the video, and telling them what they got wrong with their "critiques."

I'll be honest, I was a fan of CinemaSins back in the earlier days of the channel, but their videos have become so long and overly nitpicky that they can be a bit infuriating to watch. Back then, the channel would critique a "good" film in videos that average a length of 3 minutes, now almost everything that comes out lasts for more than 15. Even their critique of The Room, arguably the worst movie ever made, lasted 8 minutes. It was considered to be their longest video at the time, but now it's shorter than their critiques for Logan or Aliens.

Check out this short and sweet video they did on The Avengers from four years ago:

So far, we don't know what CinemaSins has to say about Vogt-Roberts comments, but hopefully they take a good look at the channel and make a few changes. I don't want to sit down for 20 minutes and watch someone tell me how "bad" Captain America: Civil War is.
