DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns made the headlines yesterday when he announced that he was stepping down from his role as the company's Chief Creative Officer so that he could focus on writing and producing material like comics, television series, and movies.

Now, with Johns resigning from his position, it looks like DC co-publisher Jim Lee is going to take over his job as DC Entertainments Chief Creative Officers.

Now, Lee is going to become DC's Chief Creative Officer, taking on the title and the responsibility that comes along with it. Lee is also going to retain his role as publisher, working together with Dan Didio.

For those who aren't familiar with Lee, the comic book artist is also a comic book writer, artist and publisher.Lee is one of the comic book industry's most believed artists, working for almost 30 years after starting out as an artist for Marvel.

Lee first found himself in the role as manager when he and six other popular comic book artists left Marvel back in the early 90s so that he could start Image Comics.
