By now, we already know that among all the Marvel Netflix-exclusive shows, Iron Fist is the worst-rated one, but of course, a lot of fans still thought that it was fantastic. One of the aspects that makes the show worth watching is Colleen Wing, who is played by Jessica Henwick. She will reprise her role in the crossover series The Defenders, and during an interview with EW, she hypes up the highly-anticipated show that's expected to release later this year, saying:
"It's good, it'sreallygood. I think people are going to love seeing characters interact with each other, they're going to see Colleen and Misty, they're going to love seeing Luke Cagewith the Iron Fist, Danny Rand. I think fans are going to freak out."
Even though Iron Fist wasn't a great show, I enjoyed seeing Colleen Wing in action. Hopefully, we'll see her kick more ass in The Defenders. Henwick talked about how Collen will be starting out in the series:
"We pick up with Colleennotin New York - Which is crazy, as all the shows have been predominantly in New York. We find her a month after we left her. It's really interesting she hasn't been able to deal with the emotional trauma she dealt with inIron Fist.So it build to a head and she explodes inDefenders."
Where could Colleen be if she's not in New York? She's probably trying to recuperate from her traumatizing experience or on a secret mission, but one thing I'm excited about is seeing how she and the rest of the characters in The Defenders will interact with each other.
The Defenders will premiere on Netflix on August 18, 2017.
