This year's Father's Day, June 16, Captain America star Chris Evans joins the festivities as he shares a photo of him and his dad on Twitter. See the link below:

Chris Evans quips: "Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there who understand the importance of love, encouragement, patience, listening, and lollipops."

Indeed, Evan's father G. Robert Evans III raised a great man that gave justice to the well-loved comic book character, as well being a cool dad to "America's ass."

Of course, fans took the chance to greet their "daddy" as well.

Evans, who played Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also played Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movies and even starred in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World as Lucas Lee along with Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson. He celebrated his birthday last June 13th, with Robert Downey Jr. posting a cheeky birthday greeting for him.

Chris Evans may have bid goodbye to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Avengers: Endgame marked the end of Steve Rogers' duties as Captain America, but he is set to appear in the upcoming film Knives Out, which is slated to be released in November 2019.
