Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton might have missed out on all of the action in Avengers: Infinity War, but that doesn't mean the Marvel star isn't happy to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Celebrating the time that he's spent working with Marvel and the 10 years that the franchise has been around, Renner decided to get a special tattoo along with his other Marvel co-stars.
Taking time to sit down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the Hawkeye star revealed that he actually got a special tattoo along with the original six Avengers members to celebrate 10 years of working together in the MCU.
"Six of us, the original six did," Renner told Fallon. "There's a lot of Avengers at this point now, I have no idea how many, I can't count, that's a lot of costumes. The original six got a tattoo because we've all been together over the last decade and spent a lot of time together and have a lot of similar shared experiences in life and so we got this symbol this artist designed for us. Eastside Ink, Josh Lord."
While the tattoo meant a lot to the Marvel stars – a symbol of the friendship that Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlet Johannson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo built over the past ten years – not all of the original Avengers decided on getting the tattoo. According to Renner, Ruffalo "chickened out at the last minute," though he isn't entirely sure why.
Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
